How much do Interior Designers REALLY get paid?

I know the of middle and middle 50%, but anyone who knows where I can get a more ? Or is anyone an architect and interior decorator can tell me what kind of company they work for and get paid what?

Most are self employed and it depends on how many well paying clients they can contract .
Also , how much of a mark-up over costs they can negotiate .

It depends on your company and clientele. If you’re working for wealthy people, you’ll get paid more. But if you’re working more for middle class people… probably not much more than $40,000 – 65,000

I work in the industry and help new home buyers select their colors and upgrades. I have a 4 year degree in interior design. I have interviewed at some design firms that do model homes in the past, and I would say that most designers starting out should expect to make something in the low $20K’s. It sucks, but unless you are self employed it is really hard to make money as an interior designer.
