Honestly, I’ve always been a fan of pencil and paper. Autocad can be good, but I can hand-sketch my ideas just as fast…

I love plan3d. go to plan3d.com, pay a yearly subscription, ($35) and you can access it from anywhere with internet. I really like it, but as far as furniture, its not my taste, but it has behr paint, so you can design, and use the exact behr # to go to the store to get that color.
