I would paint the ceiling too. This actually opens your space, similar to the sky/ horizon concept. Or you may paint your wall one color continuing with all the walls, even the two taller walls, stopping at the “bend” towards the top. Paint the ceiling another color, not white (unless you are using white as part of your color scheme and carrying into the room with textiles)
If you are trying to add “funky” to your space you can also paint the two taller walls another color.Making sure your colors “blend” nicely with eachother.
In an open floor plan:
You should paint the entire area one color and at a corner you may change the color.
You want to create a harmonious effect.
