This is actually nice and sleek. Modern and antique mixture. Looks clean but probably for a bachelor’s crib not for a single woman. The lighting is what does it.

This is shite.
The furniture is too dark, the carpet too busy and the tv too big for the cupboard. And the daylight will be shining on the tv this way, making it hard to watch.
Use light furniture and less/no patterns in a small room.
Wood with white is always a good combination in small dark rooms. And don’t put your tv across from a window.

Horrible!! Looks like Target and Walmart furniture. Why is the TV hanging off of the “entertainment system?”
I would get rid of that furniture the tv is on. Looks old and out of place. The tv should be wall mounted.
the tv stand not appropriate with the rest of modern furniture. black is good for huge rooms. you should choose pastels color or modern type of furniture if you think this is a small room. looks dull.

hmm, though I thought the furniture was nice, I didn’t think the room was small, and I didn’t think it look good. It actually looked very dull and not very tasteful. :*(
180 s.f. is not small. that room can be converted into a 1-car garage.
i’d discard the cabinet. it’s taking up walk-way space and the space just looks too heavy with it. just hang the plasma on the wall. it’ll relieve the living room.
after this, replace the ottomans with a mid-size glass table.
i particularly enjoy working with small spaces. it’s a great challenge !!

I was thinkig the same thing, mingomango. I thought the TV could go on the wall and the armoir could be replaced by a sleek bookcase or something.
That looks like my apartment living room, all I need is that large rug!

Haha, I love all these videos and articles about how to decorate a “small” space. You’d have to make well over a six figure income to afford something this big in America’s biggest cities.
I would not call that a small space!
