Good way not to make money!!! Try this.
Put together a little portfolio of nice quality digital-photo hard copies of your work (with a watermark so naughty dealers can’t just enlarge them). Bind them or use a sharp looking little sleeve-style folder. Include a slot for a simple, good looking business card “nice paper and “just the facts, please” no clever slogans) Then call all the interior desecrators (sic) in your area/region and ask if you might have a moment of their time to introduce yourself and to give them a few examples of your work for their files for consideration in placements and commissions.
If you place the works themselves into a wholesale or retail space you have to build-in the designer’s commission, the retailer’s commission and then whatever else is yours…usually a shiny new dime! LOL On the other hand when YOU make direct sales to the designers you get your full price and then they add on their commision when they bill the client. Document everything with dates titles and note the fact that your images are copyrighted. Good luck
