How much do interior designers earn?

whats the average starting salary and what is the most they can earn up to once they become senior and would the salary be higher if you were on a contract or if the was permanent? and what are the best cities/countries to work as an interior designer?

I am in Miami Florida,,,, we charge $7 x sq or $150 x hour. Depending on the project you can charge by hour or by square foot.
