Great design! Do you need the Capture Extended edition to do visualizations like this? Can you do it with just the Basic Edition?

Thanks

no, if you get the connectivity tool, you will be all set. All you have to do then in capture is patch the fixtures correctly then they should work. Keep in mind, the connectivity tool has some flaws. well at least when i used it. I dont know if there is a new version out yet. But, when i used it, like if I were using itunes to help me program a song, for some reason the connectivity thing would disconnect. so… i guess just use your ipod and not too much stuff on the computer.

Can you do that right from your computer or do you need a wing or something physical thing to make capture control the lights in the demo version???

capturesweden dot com. There is a demo you can download that has almost all the features of the full version

Hey where can you buy the software from?

You need a lighting console to get the lights to move. I use the Hog 3pc, which is free to download at highend dot com. If you use Hog 3pc, you have to also download the connectivity tool. This allows you to connect to the visualizer (in this case Capture) hence the word connectivity, ha.

how do you get the moving heads to move! i am a new to capture…and just light design, and how do you make them sync to the music…like how do you make a scene so that i can make it go to the music. And nice video
