i’d go for a really nice cream, like nearly gold to brighten the room up if you have one dark wall looks great already though!

I think a red feature wall to match the rug would be quite nice… Possible a light cream for the other walls… Or a light brown?

Def a creamy oatmeal type white/beige. I has gonna say maroon or green BUT it would look dark next to that accent wall and you said that is not what you want. With maroon accents (pillows,rugs,pictures) That would look so nice.

cut the wall in half, dark color on top, light on button, or vice versa. or sponge with dark color

I would say red but it will make the room much much too dark, i would go with a very light sage color
