Architecture deals more with the structure of buildings while Interior Design deals more with how the building is decorated.

Either Architecture degree is good although, i would go with the Interior design as this will cover the architecture part as well.
Be smart and do this. I am a Commercial and Residental architecture and can also do Industrial. If you can interior design a house, you can interior design a full scale hotel.

Well, architectural detail and design has more to do with the structure and building of a home or space, and interior design is the color, fabric, stlye ect. If you are more into the arches, built ins or carpentry i would go for Interior architecture. If you like the designing of a room or space i would choose design as your major.
Good luck in all you do!

Interior Architecture refers to the organization of physical space within a building, using partitions (walls) to affect a building’s occupancy. Interior Architecture also affects a building’s infrastructure – such as Plumbing, HVAC systems and Electrical Work.

Interior Design focuses primarily on furnishings, wall treatments, lighting fixtures, etc… these elements, while essential for human comfort, are separate and distinct from the built environment.
