Interior Architecture also affects a building's infrastructure - such as Plumbing, HVAC systems and Electrical Work. Interior Design focuses primarily on furnishings, wall treatments, lighting fixtures, etc... these elements, while essential for human comfort, are separate and distinct from the built environment. If you are more into the arches, built ins or carpentry i would go for Interior architecture. If you like the designing of a room or space i would choose design as your major. Be smart and do this. I am a Commercial and Residental architecture and can also do Industrial. If you can interior design a house, you can interior design a full scale hotel.
